1 out of 5 stars Badly sewn   July 26, 2010
Karyn Hunt (Woodside, CA USA)
When my harness arrived, the zipper had not been sewn properly so I had to repair it myself. Then the zipper fell off. The quality control dpt was asleep on the job. I had to throw it away.

5 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!!   July 13, 2010
.
Absolutely love this backpack. My daughter loves it too. She gets most the freedom she wants at 18 months and I get the peace of mind that she can't run off or be taken from me. The wrist strap is just small enough to fit over my hand and not easily come off if I just wear it like a bracelet. However it doesn't fit over my husband hand and onto his wrist, so I will always have her with her "backpack" on. The only things I would wish for this to have is a second front clasp. With just one the puppy sags a bit in the back. Also the zipper to the backpack is underneath the straps so when my daughter wears this I can't get out her snack or whatever.

3 out of 5 stars Could Be Improved   July 9, 2010

I ordered this to use with my 2-year old ACTIVE son on a trip to an amusement park and through the airport. It worked well enough. My son liked the puppy and was fine with wearing it. Calling it a backpack is kind of amusing as it only held a couple of folded diapers and his pacifiers (which worked considering he would have fallen over if we'd added much more). Really, if you think of it more as a large extra pocket you'll get the idea. The only real complaint about it is that the strap across the chest needs to either be doubled or needs to be placed below the adjustment straps for the shoulders so that it doesn't come up around the neck and look like it's choking the poor kid.

4 out of 5 stars Great for toddlers!   June 28, 2010
Natalie Contento
This is a perfect solution for a busy toddler. My little boy is 21 months and loves being free to walk instead of in his stroller. I feel more comfortable knowing he cannot run off with his "backpack" on! I gave it 4 stars because it was a little big at first but he has grown into it.

4 out of 5 stars Great concept   May 31, 2010
L. LaBranche
I've seen this in action and it's a great concept. So much more cute and attractive than the plain child harness and definately better than the bracelets from 20 years ago. It is a great thing to have if your child simply can't or won't hold your hand and tends to wander off.

Many parents don't want to tether their child because they may view it as "leash like". However, those of us who have children know that there are kids who simply won't behave, won't hold hands and won't listen. I would MUCH rather use this cute item than have an injured child who ran into a car.
